Colin Meloy is the frontman and songwriter for The Decemberists and an author.
The Decemberists formed in Portland, OR in 2000. Since that time, the Grammy-nominated band have released eight albums including their latest, I’ll Be Your Girl, which was released in March 2018 on Capitol Records. Meloy has also recorded and toured as a solo artist. In 2013, he released the latest in a series of cover EPs, Colin Meloy Sings The Kinks. Previous recordings feature the music of Morrissey, Shirley Collins, and Sam Cooke, along with a live album, Colin Meloy Sings…Live!.
